FAMILY FILM in German Cinema

Olmo Omerzus FAMILY FILM, which competed in the competition of the FilmFestival Cottbus in 2015 and was awarded the prize for the best male actor (for Karel Roden), will be released in German cinemas on 2nd February by Déjà-Vu films. The Czech-Slovenian-French-German co-production is about a well-off family in Prague - mother, father, dog and two almost grown children - whose members are put to the test when the parents start sailing to the other end of the world. The children stay on their own and try out the newly acquired liberties. The friendly and sensible acting teenagers invent obscure testimony against boredom and gamble on the computer at nights. The parents can only meet them from time to time via Skype. But then the contact suddenly breaks off. The project was pitched 2012 at connecting cottbus.
