Our Cinemas
Our festival venues are centrally located in Cottbus and offer a variety of cinematic experiences. From the historic Filmtheater Weltspiegel to the intimate Obenkino, each venue has its own distinctive character.
Whether it’s a major premiere, a competition screening, a Q&A or a cinematic discovery in one of the smaller theatres, during FilmFestival Cottbus the city centre becomes a meeting place for film lovers and filmmakers for six days. With all venues within easy walking distance of one another, it’s easy to catch several screenings in one day and immerse yourself in the festival atmosphere in between.
