At the Cottbus Film Festival, international juries recognise outstanding films and filmmakers.
Juries
The juries are appointed by the festival directors and consist of prominent figures from the Eastern European and German film industries. A total of eight juries decide on the awards at the Cottbus Film Festival.
The juries for the 36th Cottbus Film Festival will be announced here shortly before the festival.

This award is presented by the international festival jury. In addition to the prize money, the winner also receives the LUBINA award sculpture (Sorbian: ‘the charming one’).
