LENFILM DAYS in Berlin

The Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin presents the LENFILM DAYS. Four films from Lenfilm, the oldest and most traditional Russian-Soviet film studio, will be screened.

The opening of the Lenfilm series will be on February 19th with the comedy PETERSBURG. SELFIE – a film by Anna Parmas, Natalia Kurdryashowa, Aksinia Gog, Natalia Nazarowa, Oksana Bychkowa, Avdotia Smirnova, Renata Litvinowa. The seven directors convey the unique and special atmosphere of the city and its everyday life, which is famous for its white nights. PETERSBURG. SELFIE was shown at the FilmFestival Cottbus 2016 in the section RUSSKIY DEN.

Director Sergey Snezhkin and costume designer Inessa Snezhkina will be guests at the LENFILM DAYS on February 20th, showing their historical crime film CONTRIBUTION. 

PTITSA and THREE DAYS TO SPRING conclude the LENFILM DAYS on February 21st. The musical melodrama PTITSA by Kseniya Baskakowa is a film about friendship, love, loneliness and music. Producer Eduard Pitschugin is a guest at this evening.

Also Alexander Kasatkin is a guest, director from THREE DAYS TILL THE SPRING - an exciting detective and love story during the hardest times of the blockade of Leningrad, which tells of the heroism of the people during World War II. 2017 the FilmFestival Cottbus showed the film in the section RUSSKIY DEN.
