Cooperation with the Postira Seaside Film Festival
The Postira Seaside Film Festival, now in its fifteenth year, will take place from July 22–27, 2025, in the idyllic coastal town of Postira on the island of Brač in Croatia.
In the traditionally very strong international competition, fifteen films are vying for the Audience Award this year. Last year, the popular “Midnight Shorts Competition” featured this year’s Oscar-winning short film, “I’M NOT A ROBOT” by Victoria Warmerdam; it remains to be seen which films from this year’s PSFF will go on to win major awards in the future.
A total of thirty-three films will be screened this year across six program blocks.
As part of the close collaboration with the Cottbus Film Festival, which has been in place since 2015, last year’s competition films “ON THE WAY” by Samir Karahoda will screen in the international competition, and “MINUS TWO HUNDRED” by Nikolas Passaria will screen in the “Midnight Shorts Competition” at this year’s Postira Seaside Film Festival.
FFC Managing Director Andreas Stein will be on site at the PSFF from July 25–27.
