FFC in the evaluation jury for new film projects in Kosovo

The Managing Board of the Kosovo Cinematography Center has appointed two evaluation juries for the projects that have applied for financial support in this year’s competition of Kosovo Cinematography Center annual bid.

Buder will participate in the jury which will evaluate feature films, debutant and minor co-production and will be joined by Isa Qosja, renowned Kosovar filmmaker who has had a huge success with the film THREE WINDOWS AND A HANGING which took part in the competition of the FilmFestival Cottbus in 2014 where it won the Dialogue Price for Intercultural Communication, the Turkish producer Zeynep Atakan, who is mainly known for the Nuri Bilge Ceylans “Once Upon a Time in Anatolia”, the writer Ramadan Musliu, the producer Dritan Huqi, the director of photography Sevdije Kastrati and the director Artur Tahiraj.

The jury, which will evaluate short films, long and short documentary films, short animated film, and screenplay development consists of: DokuFest’s artistic director Veton Nurkollari, the actress Rebeka Qena, the director Florent Mehmeti, the actor and producer Eshref Durmishi, the writer Adil Olluri , the playwright Jahi Jahiu and the director Ilir Kabashi.

There are around 50 film projects this year to be evaluated by the jury in the beginning of June.
