Cottbus Filmshow winner MĚR in Zielona Góra

The short film MĚR (Lower Sorbian for: peace) by Anne-Kathrin Schöler-Rensch and Clemens Schiesko, which was awarded the Special Prize of the Foundation of the Sorbian People at the Cottbus Filmshow in 2015, will be running at the amateur film festival in Cottbus' twin town Zielona Góra (Poland). The Cottbus Filmshow annually opens one day before the official start of the FilmFestival Cottbus, presenting the works of semi-professional filmmakers from the Cottbus region. MĚR, shot in Lower Sorbian language, depicts collage-like the biblical quotation "Every one has his time - Wšykno ma swój cas". The amateur film festival is organized by the 5th Lyceum "Krzysztof Kieslowski" in Zielona Góra. It takes place every year on the occasion of the death of the Polish cult director, this year for the eighth time on 15th March. The filmmakers will join the screening.
