What would the world be without fairy tales? This is the scenario faced by the fairy tale adaptation based on motifs by Hertha Vogel-Voll. Fearing that they will be forgotten forever, the fairytale characters Rumpelstiltskin, Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood send the siblings Rose and Heinrich to the house of "Liebegüte" (“loving kindness”) in the fairytale forest. Only there can the fairytale book be filled with new life. But to get there, Heinrich and Rose first have to find the silver bridge. The witch and the devil, of all people, are supposed to help them ... They have to hurry, because the “fat end” is on the two children's trail and is determined to prevent the fairy tales from coming back.
DAS MÄRCHEN VON DER SILBERNEN BRÜCKE is the 57th fairy tale adaptation in the “Sechs auf einen Streich” series, which has now been running for 16 years. Written in 1937, it still retains its fascination today. Because in this story, the witch and the devil are not the characters that usually frighten children, but their helpful companions.
