Mona had to flee Rojava in Syria with her Kurdish family and her new home is now in Berlin, Wedding. But the new school is wild, her classmates are loud and disrespectful towards each other and the teachers. Fortunately, the motivated teacher Mr. “Che” Chepovsky recognizes Mona's soccer talent. The school's girls' team even has the opportunity to take part in the Berlin school championships! But playing together with the other girls is more difficult than expected: each girl fights for herself, but they can only win together. Arguments and nasty pranks almost lead to them not being allowed to compete in the championships. But a strong speech by Mona in front of the teaching staff secures their participation. After many detours, they finally manage to win together as a team.SIEGER SEIN deals with flight, migration and school problems and tells of the power of cohesion and team spirit.
