Maja Nagel & Julius Günzel
DE, 2024, 53 Min

The edge of the mine moves closer and closer. Felled trees are the harbingers thereof. Blueberries grow on what was once a disposal area. Residents of the region share their views on the use of a landscape that entails loss for both people and nature. A poetic documentary film that sheds light on the contradictions and complications of lignite mining.
