The fall of the Berlin Wall 35 years ago was accompanied by reform movements and political demonstrations in the GDR. In Lusatia, too, people took to the streets for the so-called “Monday demonstrations.” Today, there are Monday demonstrations again – what parallels can be found between the images from that time and the current political situation? These images have never been more relevant than they are today.
