Odesa in the snow. The peaceful impression is deceptive. Ukraine is at war. The director comes from Odesa, studied in Leningrad and emigrated to Israel after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He worries about the members of his family who still live in Odesa and accompanies his German friend Martin, who lived in Russia for 30 years, camera in hand. He helps to bring refugees from Ukraine to Leipzig, where he now lives again. Martin's ex-wife Nadia believes in Russian propaganda, as does the film-maker's son in Saint Petersburg. The war also divides families.
