Actually, everything could have been so nice. Iman is chilling with her friends on the school trip, but then she suddenly claims to have had sex with Damir during the truth-or-dare game, even though it's not true at all. Damir had claimed the same thing - to seem cool in front of his bros. While a boy is proudly patted on the back for such a claim, it has nasty consequences for the girl Iman. To make matters worse, in the confusion of emotions she invents a pregnancy and so not only does the class trip soon become a distant memory, but her life and above all her honour seem ruined. Director Una Gunjak delivers an original debut with EXCURSION that is at least as cheeky as its protagonist. In Locarno she won the Special Mention - Filmmakers of the Present for it and at home, in Sarajevo, the hearts of a whole generation of young people who question the old conventions.
