Trailer
Piotr Adamski’s debut film is part ironic take on the superficial intellectualism of the art world, part visual thought experiment on the modern distance of reality from death, as well as the potentialities of complete mental and physical self-abandonment in the service of art. The motionless body in the middle of the room is at once object and creator, the mortally ill person played by controversial Polish artist Zbigniew Libera, quite possibly intended as a mental continuation of his provocative body of work, known for its regular transgression of the boundaries of morality, taste and intimacy.
The film provides an authentic and insightful take on its protagonists, as it vividly illustrates the ethical dichotomy embodied by each of them, and ultimately leads each of us to question whether we could imagine ourselves in the attendees' shoes. DJ
