Adam enters a cold world, populated by lonely individuals who show more interest in mobile devices than their fellow men. Implants under the skin make a private life impossible, whilst the mysterious secret services monitor every step.

In defiance thereof Adam seeks authenticity, be that the warmth of wood, the vibrations of music or the intoxication of romance. In an abandoned residence he stumbles across a radio that turns out to hold the key to long forgotten times. Adam is, after all, only passing through this world; a hypnotic experiment back in the fifties saw him dispatched to the future. In the cryptic labyrinth of time he finds acts of humanity and unfaltering love.

Director Bodo Kox masterfully creates a fascinating image of the future, playing cat and mouse with the viewer's expectations in the process. Captured with the help of brilliantly creative scenes and costumes, as well as wonderfully effective montage sequences, every turn that Adam's tale takes is unanticipated. DJ
