In line with a long-standing tradition, the festival‘
s trailer has been produced for years now
by a team of students from the Film University
Babelsberg “Konrad Wolf”; In 2014 it‘s Chris
Miera‘s turn. Conceptually-speaking the trailer
ties in with this year‘s focus, which entitled
queerEAST features works on gay and lesbian
existence in central and Eastern Europe. An
innovation this year is the fact that the trailer
exists in four different versions, three of
which are to be screened exclusively during the
festival.

Chris Miera - – born in Schwedt near Berlin in 1986. He
made his first film while attending school in
Beijing. A series of internships at different film
productions followed. Since 2010 he studies
film and TV directing at the Film University
Babelsberg “Konrad Wolf”.
