There's no one better positioned to tell this true story of the band 'Tranzystory' than director and scenographer Grzegorz Jankowski, an expert on the cynical world of Polish show business. The result is an uncompromising comedy characterised by a subversive undertone and its sarcastic take on the two-faced world of the mass media. A wonderful synthesis of road movie, musical and home video that draws the viewer in to the protagonists' battles with alcohol abuse and solitude, as well as stirring up admiration for the band's eloquent, quick-witted lyrics.
