Dead Man´s Bluff

Nizhny Novgorod in the mid-nineties is ruled by criminal gangs. Two young hoodlums, Sergei and Simon, receive an order from local Mafia boss Mikhalytsch (wonderfully performed by Nikita Mikhalkov) and yet everything seems to go wrong from the outset.
A cynical cinematic comment upon the wild 1990s – an era Russians refer to as the “great criminal revolution”. Terrifying as well as witty portrayed by the master provocateur of Russian cinema. CR
