Director Radu Muntean's fifth feature-length film, which featured at this year's Cannes Film Festival within the 'Un Certain Regard' programme section, tells the tale of Pătraşcu, who lives a modest life with his family in the Romanian capital. Life is turned upside down however when he observes a violent confrontation that finds a fatal end. Caught up in a moral conflict and feeling threatened by the suspected murderer, he remains silent in order to protect himself and his family. Can he still look at himself in the mirror however? EG

Radu Muntean - born 1971 in Bucharest, Romania. He graduated from the Bucharest Theatre and Film Academy in 1994. He has shot more than 400 commercials, for which he has been rewarded with numerous accolades. His previous four feature films were awarded at several A-festivals such as Cannes and Karlovy Vary.
