Anton and Vlad, a gay Russian couple, lead a happy existence together. One day they are witness to a street brawl; They don't intervene. The following day they learn that a young homosexual lost his life in the incident, killed by fascists. Plagued by moral dilemma, they attempt to uncover the crime, and discover the truth, turning from hunters to the hunted in the process. The film realistically portrays the homophobic climate in contemporary Russia and the fear amongst homosexuals from the perspective of those affected.
