Veiko Õunpuu - born 1972 in Saaremaa, Estonia. He has been a carpet salesman, a university dropout, a backpacker and a painter. In 2006, he founded the production company Homeless Bob Production and directed his first short film. His debut feature SÜGISBALL premiered in Venice and won the Orizzonti Award in 2007.
