Love Island
With his overly tight swimming trunks and luscious hairy chest Grebo sets off on all-inclusive-holiday with his heavily pregnant wife Liliane. The first grey clouds soon loom on the horizon however: Liliane bumps into Flora, a holiday resort animator she had an affair with years ago, and unbeknown to her Grebo also has an eye on the young woman. Thus the romantic intrigue begins. Director Jasmila Žbanić, whose ZA ONE KOJI NE MOGU DA GOVORE featured at last year's FilmFestival Cottbus Feature Film Competition, springs a surprise with this fast-paced comedy which satirises established gender relations.

Jasmila Žbanić - – born 1974 in Sarajevo. A graduate of her native city’s Academy of Dramatic Arts, Theatre and Film Directing Department. Before filmmaking, she also worked as a puppeteer. Her feature debut GRBAVICA / ESMAS SECRET won the 2006 Berlinale Golden Bear.
