Adriana wants to become Miss Dresden; instead of friends, she collects sashes. Julia lives in the Lausitz district and wants to learn English to prepare for interviews abroad. The film takes a look at the girls' day-to-day lives and shows them participating in the regional pageants in local hotels and discotheques.
