The tale of two children who are abandoned in the woods and end up in the hands of an wicked witch numbers amongst the most famous of the tales penned by the brothers Grimm. For this production, author David Ungureit interpreted the tale from a different perspective: what would happen if the father regretted his actions and attempted to reverse his actions? In the process he stumbles across a forest fairy who helps him unveil one of the witch's age-old secrets. At this year's FilmFestival Cottbus rbb (Berlin Brandenburg Broadcasting) and SR (Saarland Broadcasting) will present the world première of their latest Hansel and Gretel production. KDF
