Me Var Beso
I'm Beso

Fourteen-year-old Beso grows up in rural Georgia, amongst relics of the socialist past and his paternalistic father and long-suffering mother. Totally out of the blue, his brother admits to him that he's gay. At the same time Beso has to prove himself and his awakening sense of manhood to his friends. He only genuinely feels free when recording improvised, generally obscene rap on an old tape recorder. An authentic portrait of a youth caught in a vicious circle of discontent.
