The diary of a journey of self-discovery; the director undertakes a pilgrimage along the way of St. James from Vilnius to Santiago de Compostela, a total of 4,147 kilometres completed in exactly 199 days. When St. James' Day falls on a Sunday, officially declared a Holy Year, faith dictates that participation in the pilgrimage cleanses participants of all sin. In comparison Türas' quest is somewhat less elevated in its ambition; a constant cursing of the traffic noise and a life of simple pleasures, but nevertheless a scenic path towards self-discovery that developes a certain meditative power and ultimately a more self-conscious level of reflection on personal misfortune and error of judgement.
