A subtle, minimalist take on real-socialist Cuba. Serbian filmmaker Goran Radovanović spent one year teaching directing at the Havana Film School during 2009-2010. In the process the present film evolved, the dissection of a society which constantly manages to revitalise itself. An infrastructure barely worthy of the name and a snail-paced socialist path given vitality by a people of seemingly endless patience. All topped by the loquacious propaganda dedicated to the 52nd anniversary of Cuban independence. A revolution in stagnation.
