A polaroid photograph and the memory of a single night spent together; these are Europe's sole mementos of Matthias.
On learning that she's pregnant she nevertheless resolves to find him and therefore makes her way from Paris to Berlin, supported by her best friend Eva, since Europe is blind.
Bomber is a vertically challenged and rough-and-ready one of a kind from Berlin. Having been dismissed from his courier job he decides to sell rather than deliver his final consignment. Once in Paris he falls victim to a scam and ends his trip down and out at a Paris kiosk, where he becomes acquainted with the burly mute Bruno, who despite initial differences resolves to put up the abusive, diminutive figure. After a drinking spree the unlikely duo set out for Berlin. En route they encounter Europe, the latter meanwhile travelling alone, and take her along with them.
Thus begins a turbulent journey. (Catalogue Film Festival Max Ophiils Award 2012)
