Sascha wants to finally marry his childhood sweetheart Caro. In the course of his bache-lor party by the sea he plays the fool and ends up drunk. Then, having read a chance text message on a friend's mobile phone, his world suddenly comes tumbling down and intoxicated as he is, he falls into the water. On waking up again he finds himself on the boat of a mysterious ferryman. Tobias Schenke and an impressive Gojko Mitic play the leading roles in this short film shot in cinemascope; a mixture of genres combining elements of science fiction, fairy tale and coming-of-age narratives.
