A recently-passed law in Russia prohibits the
propaganda amongst minors of “non-traditional
sexual relationships”; parliamentarian Vitaly
Milonov publicly described homosexuality as
sick, sinful and abnormal. In order to respond
to this onslaught, and provide a platform
to homosexual youths in Russia, journalist
Yelena Klimova initiated the internet project
“Children 404”, the name a reference to the
internet error message “error 404 – page not
found”. An intimate report in which young
homosexuals talk openly about the difficulties
of finding themselves.
