Fourteen-year-old Wanda moves, together with her parents, to Switzerland. Among new surroundings life is supposed to take a turn for the better; instead the old problems remain. The smouldering relationship crisis between her parents assumes even greater proportions in the new family home. The three siblings experience first-hand how the relationship between mother and father ruptures beyond all repair. Wanda attempts to reconcile her quarreling parents, and with that her ideal of family life. It turns out however that she has taken on a task she is unable to fulfil. An emotional tale of coming-of-age.

Friederike Jehn - born 1977 in Fulda. Studied directing and scriptwriting at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy; also attended the UCLA master class The Hollywood Experience. Recipient of a DAAD scholarship to pursue her artistic talents in Boston and New York for four months back in 2008. Her debut feature film was the recipient of various awards.
