Meticulously she chooses: Is the cabbage fresh, are the onions crisp, the eggs not out of date? She wants that carp, the one at the very bottom of the tank. She personally tastes the chosen wines. And her facial cream, is it not too strongly scented? On Wednesdays she does the shopping, no expense spared, only the highest quality. What a treat to behold, test, choose, accumulate; and then see it all neatly arranged on the conveyor belt. Every Wednesday. An eloquent three-minute piece of social commentary. KF

Ieva Javaityté - born 1983 in Lithuania. Gained first experience in the film industry working as a production assistant at the Lithuanian Film Studio. Studied directing at FAMU in Prague, where she also worked for a Czech production company. Has been making short films since 2008.
