A Volkswagen Beetle jolts along a winding mountain road. To a background of rustling leaves and birdsong a young girl whispers, “Granny wants me to hide to be out of danger.” The blond-haired girl is to live up there in the deep forest, in isolation, with only an elderly shepherd and his sheep for company. At once curious and imaginative she draws closer to her new surroundings, discovering a hitherto unknown magical world in the process. CG

Wiktoria Szymańska - born in Gdańsk, Poland. She graduated from St. Andrews University, Great Britain, and holds a degree in anthropology. After graduation she spent extended periods in both the USA and Mexico. In 2005, she graduated from the Art and Film Faculty at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. As of 2006 she has worked together with several TV broadcasting stations.
