Trailer
At first it would appear to be nothing more than a routine case, as a pizza delivery boy is found murdered. Subsequent investigations lead the investigating team, consisting of Wanda Wusel, Raimart Globusch and Helga Mülle, to an opaque collection of leads that share one common denominator: the involvement of plastic ducks. Adopted Cottbuser Ralf Schuster takes a critical though witty look at local affairs with his intentionally trashy, low-budget criminal film series, with supporting roles played by local celebrities such as singer Peti Marasus in the role of a chess-playing tower block dweller, student cabaret performer Andreas Gaber as a pernickety villager and journalist Hellmuth Henneberg in the familiar role of the gardener.
After twelve years and ten episodes ENTEN WELTWEIT represents the end of the series: Schlemmer is now retired and only reluctantly gets involved in this case due to the disappearance of his successor. This screening will be a world premiere, to be accompanied by live musical accompaniment and followed by a party with DJ Sarah and July, both of whom feature in the film.
