Home is a high-rise residential building in the suburbs of Gdynia. All in all, the situation's slowly growing unacceptable to young Justyna. Something has to change. She wants respect, and what's more simply to be able to treat herself now and again. Impossible given her mother's modest salary, Justyna stumbles across some lipstick, which in turn leads to an acquaintance with her new neighbour Edyta, textbook good looks, handsome boyfriend and all. A triangular relationship evolves that centres around the need for intimacy that can only remain unfulfilled in the empty world that exists behind the glitter of beauty and cosmetics.
