The atmospheric images capture the various stages in the life of a boxer, “you have to know when it's time to stop”. These words hint at farewell, and yet the passion for the game never ends, as the camera homes in on the wrinkled hands of an old-timer, who trains tomorrow's talent with grandfatherly patience and perseverance. With productions such as this Gdynia proves that it has the potential to produce talented directors unafraid to get up close and personal that extends to the documentary genre. JG
