Roma, Stach and Skinny are illegally employed at a huge steel-mill complex in the Ukraine. To enhance the meager earnings the mill provides they steal scrap metal, as these youths struggle to survive and for the right to love. A fascinating snap-shot from the bottom of the social hierarchy.

Moloch is the name of the steel works; constructed during times of optimism about the future of mankind, today the name stands for economic decline and an irrevocable departure from the state-sponsored visions of a bygone era. In this chaotic war of all against all, the three protagonists develop a love-hate relationship with Moloch, representing as it does both a detested workplace and adventure playground, wonderfully captured with spectacular footage from within the complex, part of which remains active to the present day. Szymon Kapeniak - born 1975. He studied at the Faculty of Philosophy at the Warsaw University, and subsequently continued studying film directing at the Film School in Łódź and the Wajda Film School in Warsaw. He has authored several reportage pieces and documentaries.
