Trailer
Veteran bull breeder Stipe, his Austria-based son Marko, kindergarten teacher and karate instructor Mujaga, as well as impoverished farmer Kinija all belong to this universe. And then there's Renata, one of the few women in a male-dominated world. The diversity of these protagonists and the scene to which they belong is reflected in the manifold problems faced by Bosnian society in the aftermath of the breakup of the former Yugoslavia. These mass gatherings, attended by up to 50,000 visitors, offer a distraction from the often drab, monotonous routine of everyday life, in the process pushing ethnic differences between Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs into the background. Some locals even say that the Koridas have brought greater peace to these lands than all efforts of the European Union combined.
