Bellyboy’s life if hard – nobody likes him because he’s fat and when the bullying really gets to him he cuts himself to forget. But Bellyboy’s also has another life – when he’s with his best and only friend. They do everything together and she doesn’t notice his weight. Instead, she loves his wits and great voice. Together, their life is like an American film – cars, guitar, love and quirky one-liners.
Like its title suggests, this short feature is a mixture of humor and serious issues. A nostalgic coming-of-age story.
