Ashamed of her bad grades at school Olli runs away from home. Joined by Pinkus the dog and Alexander the horse, the youngster stumbles across a grumpy professor in an old windmill. The latter is working on a mysterious machine which abruptly elevates the mill, inhabitants included, into space. Having survived the adventure and returned to planet earth Olli has learned one lesson: that she is able to overcome difficulties. Originally written by Günther Feustel, the story was brought to life using puppet animation and possesses a rarely witnessed handmade charm.
