Jenny, a music prodigy, is in prison charged
with murder. Mrs Krüger, an old strict
Prussian piano teacher is charged with
preparing her for a competition. Jenny has
an explosive, self-destructive and violent
personality and the first encounter between
the two ends in fiasco. Under the tough
exterior both carry deep emotional scars.
A tenacious, at times brutal struggle
commences, from which time and again the
viewer is able to catch a glimpse of Jenny's
extraordinary talent. With remarkable
intensity two wonderful actresses narrate
the path of self-discovery.
