"I'm a Romani Quixote“ claims a man on a horse-drawn cart. He goes by the name of Valery, a highly-indebted Rom who is currently working on a radio report about the condition of his fellow countrymen. His wife isn't called Dulcinea, but rather Varninka; She works in Greece, as do many no longer able to earn a living in Bulgaria. A tongue-in-cheek and yet poetic account of life in a Bulgarian Romani quarter, ROM KIHOT deals with emigration and integration, culture and ignorance, as well as unfulfilled dreams, be they a new smartphone or a garden of one's own.
