Katarzyna Klimkiewicz's film is a monument to the early "pop icon" – and, with great features and entertainment value, tells a part of Polish (pop) history from a personal perspective that becomes increasingly political in the end. With her desire for independence, Jędrusik is now a role model for women who do what is normal: be independent. A story that unfortunately is timeless.

Katarzyna Klimkiewicz - I knew I wanted to be a filmmaker since I was 15 years old, I graduated from Polish Film School in Lodz when I was 21. But it took me many years and many short films to gain confidence to make my feature film. It was 2012 and the film was “Flying Blind” with Helen McCrory. I am now in development of my third film “Burnt Grass”.
