The third grade begins for Paulina and with it a time full of challenges. It's easy for Paulina to bring a puppy into the family when there's competition at the other end from a new classmate or when she has to choose between two cute boys. How do you actually know that you're in love, and aren't her parents anymore so that's why they fight so often?
DNEVNIK PAULINE P. experienced the second best opening for a children's film in Croatian film history with 13,485 viewers. The film is an adaptation of the very popular Croatian children's book of the same name by author Sanja Polak. The Croatian Ministry of Science and Education has even recommended that the film be included in extracurricular elementary school lessons.

Neven Hitrec - born in 1967 in Zagreb (Croatia), graduated Film and TV Directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He is the author of several award-winning documentary and fiction films which been acclaimed both in Croatia and at international film festivals. He won the annual award for film art, Vladimir Nazor, and also the City of Zagreb Award.
