The Sorbian boy Krabat is happy that he has finally found a job in a mill. When it dawns on him what a dangerous pact he has made with the miller, a black magician, his joy quickly evaporates.Based on the original by Jurij Brěžan, Herrmann's realization of Krabat is the longest hand-animated silhouette film in the world.
