On being released from prison Alex meets
Blanka who, dressed in a bunny costume, is
distributing flyers in Warsaw city centre.
The somewhat clumsy young woman ask if
he wants to spend the night at her place,
whereupon Alex not only moves in, but also
has some ideas on how to make her job more
profitable. When Blanka comes to speak
of her fiancé, who's currently behind bars
and hasn't gotten in touch for a long time,
Alex instantly understands that he is in
fact responsible for her woes. Though doing
everything in his power to prevent Blanka
from learning of the truth, the masquerade
becomes increasingly difficult to keep up
the more Alex falls for her.
