Frankie, a career woman in her early forties,
designs drones for the British military's
"War on Terror". In addition she teaches
up-and-coming engineers; It is thus that
she meets Kahil, a French-Algerian student.
A passionate affair evolves, in the course of
which Frankie discovers truths from Kahil's
past that lead her to doubt his sincerity.
Katarzyna Klimkiewicz's feature film début
revolves around an unconventional love affair
in times of paranoia and fear of terrorism.
In the process the director questions
the omnipotence of surveillance fanatics,
whose power is even capable of extending
into and invading individual privacy.
