Jacek would long be happily married if not
for his "somewhat strange" brother Tomek,
who spends his days watching the airships
in the skyline above their apartment building.
Tomek suffers from savant syndrome,
and unfortunately nobody can see the airships
apart from him (and the film's viewers).
If anyone can help it's neighbour
Magda, who takes flight from the world in
her wardrobe and, on smoking a joint,
drifts into a parallel existence. When Jacek
one day asks her to keep an eye on Tomek it
would appear for a moment that the plot is
due to end on a happy note ...

Bodo Kox - – born 1977 in Wrocław. He is a directing
student at the Polish National Film School
in Łódź (PWSFTviT) and a graduate of the
“Rehearsal Studio” feature film course at
the Wajda School. Strongly associated with
independent cinema. THE GIRL FROM THE
WARDROBE, his feature debut, was screened
as an international premiere at the 48.
