Any work – whether a role, a script, or a film – by Renata Litvinova necessarily bears her trademark of eccentricity. In lavish costumes and extraordinary sets, Litvinova herself makes an appearance, literally as the femme fatale – a doctor Tania who represents Death and who, assisted by Nadia (Tatyana Dubrich), turns death into a spectacle for her terminally ill patient Rita as she goes through her final days. Litvinova creates entire sequences that resemble video art, strung together by the theme of death and the search for happiness and love.
