Nightly snoring in their shared bedroom, embarrassing scenes on the beach, and always slapping sunscreen on her face. But with the help of her warm-hearted Aunt Luce and her charming cousin, Sofia overcomes her initial boredom. But the carefree time comes to an abrupt end when Luce has to be hospitalized, leaving Sofia with a part of her family she didn't even know existed. In the wake of the tragedy, a long-held family secret is revealed and old hurts are finally overcome.
